Ideal for backcountry trekking with family and friends or keeping on hand for emergencies, Sawyer’s Single Bladder Gravity Water Filtration System provides an easy-to-use, portable, and high-flow gravity-based water filtration system that’s great for filtering large quantities of water.
It comes with a Dual-Threaded MINI 0.1 micron water filter, which enables you to directly fill water bottles, soda bottles, hydration packs, and more.

Gravity Filtering SystemUnscrew the wide mouth opening and fill the bag with water from any source — lake, stream, faucet, etc. — and connect the included tube between the bladder and the Dual-Threaded MINI. After filling, hang the reservoir with the MINI below it from a tree, the back of your pack, or simply hold it up with your hand. Water will flow through the MINI to produce fresh, clean water for drinking and cooking. |
Filtered Water AnywhereFitting in the palm of your hand, the Dual-Threaded MINI gives you several ways to access clean water. With threads on both sides, you can screw the flip top cap onto the MINI for easy on/off functionality while filtering to control water flow. The filter can also be screwed onto most disposable water or soda bottles, or attach it inline to tubing between a hydration pack and bite valve. |
Filter Again and AgainThe Dual-Threaded MINI can be cleaned and reused almost indefinitely with no expensive cartridges to replace… ever. When water flow begins to diminish, simply perform a backwash to restore up to 98% of the filter’s flow rate and enjoy fresh, clean water wherever you roam. |

0.1 Absolute Micron FilteringEach Sawyer water filter features 0.1 micron absolute filtration, meaning there is no pore size larger than 0.1 micron in size. This makes it nearly impossible for microplastics, harmful bacteria, protozoa, or cysts like E. coli, Giardia, Vibrio cholerae, and Salmonella typhi (which cause Cholera and Typhoid) to pass through. |
Fibre ProtectionSawyer’s hollow fibre membranes are fully encased and sealed to keep them protected. When fibres are not enclosed, physical damage of exposed fibres could allow harmful pathogens to pass through. |
Tested 3 TimesEvery Sawyer filter is performance tested three different times during the manufacturing process for your protection. Testing occurs after the fibre element construction and twice after casing assembly to ensure no harmful pathogens leak through the sealed case or internal O-rings. |
