Considering its size & cost, this is an excellent choice for ultralight, WARM WEATHER camping. Packs up about half the size of my all-seasons sleeping bag, making it my go-to for summer.
It’s more like a blanket than a sleeping bag, in that it’s not especially puffy. Its silky finish makes it both comfortable & sufficiently water-resistant. Rectangular design with a good zipper that lets you fully unzip it into a large blanket. Combine it with a second one, or an outdoor blanket and you can have a large top & bottom layer of blankets making it more like a bed than a sleeping bag. All for less weight and size than most all-weather sleeping bags.
I recommend using it in conjunction with a good sleeping pad, because this sleeping bag isn’t going to give you much of a softness buffer at all against the hard ground.
