Description
The Radiant Rechargeable ShineLine adds a touch of home even if you’re far from it, featuring integrated fiber optic and LED technology to create a truly seamless lighting setup anywhere. Simply hang, spiral, or spread out the portable ShineLine wherever you need a touch of light—on the patio table for a family barbecue, around the RV site or campsite, on a bike for eye-catching safety illumination, above the hammock while you hang with nature, or in the kid’s room for added ambiance.
ShineLine features pass-through power technology, allowing it to be powered by either: its built-in rechargeable battery, a USB AC power source to connect to a nearby wall outlet, a USB DC power source to connect to a vehicle adapter on the way to your adventure, or even an external USB battery bank. And when it’s time to charge up, the pass-through power keeps the string illuminated while charging so there’s no loss of light. With 10 feet of full-length illumination, a flexible design that shapes your space, and 4 attached Gear Ties, it’s never been easier to achieve ambiance and visibility that moves with you.
This modern LED string light also features glow and flash modes, as well as water resistance for indoor and outdoor use. Attach ShineLine to branches, posts, umbrellas, bike bars, and tents with a simple twist of the 4 included Gear Ties, or leave it bundled on a table for a concentration of light similar to a lantern. When it’s time to move on, simply coil up the string and wrap it tight with the reusable Gear Ties for easy storage—wherever the adventure takes you, ShineLine is always ready to glow.

Pros: Works great as an ambient light that’s not too offensive to keep on while sleeping. Works great to illuminate enough to find your footwear for nighttime bathroom visits. I chose green in hopes it wouldn’t attract bugs or be as loud as a white light (I can’t speak to the white ones, but I’m happy with the green in that respect). The battery lasts MOST of the evening but not the entire night. Waterproof. Charges in a reasonable amount of time. Conveniently built-in rubberized twist ties make it easy to attach to anything.
Cons: The battery won’t last the entire night. You do have to be careful putting it away, as with fibre optic cables you can’t kink them or they’ll break. It uses old micro-USB, not the modern USB-C standard.
