BreathableCrafted with breathable fabric on the back to promote airflow even when you’re in the heat of the action. The zippers are designed to keep you cool and dry from sweat at all times with their venting capabilities. |
Water-ResistantAllow you to remain dry and comfortable in wet conditions – owing to our high-quality water-resistance treatment. NOTE: The back is less water-resistant than the front, which may result in some soak-through in really wet conditions. |
Windproof & WarmWith a softshell light front that blocks wind and a thin fleece lining, these pants will provide long-lasting warmth and comfort for those, especially chilly days. The warm hiking pants are good-looking with a matte finish, not a shiny, plastic look – no swishy plastic noises! |

•Solid pants for cold-weather cycling. The material lets water run off & cuts out the wind. The fleece lining is on the light side, so if you’re out in very cold weather you’ll still want to go with a thermal base layer underneath.
•The fit is slightly on the small side if anything. But they fit well and allow very good movement in the knees. Large stretchy waist band is very comfy, but also secure. Waist size may be on the small side, but for cycling it’s better to be a little tight. Extra material in the back means it won’t ride down your butt when you’re sitting. The ankle straps keep things tight and secure around your shoes and out of your bike’s chain. Reflectors behind the calf are a bonus but would be good if there were more.
•The pockets are okay, but I wish they were zippered so I wouldn’t have to worry about things popping out while biking. The rear butt pocket does have a zipper, but it’s small, not big enough for a phone, mainly just for cards, keys, cash or small items like that. Another function of the rear pocket is that it is mesh-lined so if you open it, it serves as ventilation. The two mesh-lined side ventilation zips are great too and offer just enough ventilation to keep things from getting moist without too much cold air.
•All of the above make them good winter hiking pants as well.
