Three Simple Steps to Safe Water
Step 1: Mix brine
Make your saltwater solution at home or in the field using the water you are going to treat. Use any salt, including common table salt, sea salt, and more. Simply add salt up to the brine bottle fill line (~1 tsp), add water, and shake. Each brine bottle holds 12 doses. The H2gO Purifier also holds salt onboard to make two more bottles of brine for an extra 24 doses.
Step 2: Make disinfectant
Add brine to the H2gO Purifier to make as much disinfectant as you need in the field! No more replacing expensive single use water disinfection tablets. Simply add brine, select the volume of water you want to treat, and press the button to create disinfectant. A single dose can treat anywhere from 1 to 20 liters of water at a time, inactivating viruses and bacteria. A double dose will also destroy protozoa.
Step 3: Treat water
Add the fresh disinfectant to your container to destroy waterborne pathogens in clear and cloudy water. Wait 30 minutes to kill viruses, bacteria, and Giardia. Wait 4 hours to kill Cryptosporidium.
