I recently upgraded from a cheap emergency blanket to this one. Well worth it. Ultralight and compact enough to throw in your day pack (I always have this one packed when the weather starts to cool down at night). Can also be used as a sleeping bag liner, or as a stand alone ultralight sleeping bag. Another advantage over the super cheap emergency blankets is that this one breathes so it doesn’t allow condensation buildup.
